Archbishop Dr. Mampholodi Andrek Malatjie

Archbishop Dr. Mampholodi Andrek Malatjie is the visionary leader of Baleloko Missionary Cultural Church (BMCC) and custodian of Orthodox Morokanism. Under his guidance, BMCC unites spiritual evangelization with cultural preservation, ensuring that faith and tradition grow together.

Together with his Queens, Dr. Masha Rosina Malatjie and Dr. Makgwale Malatjie, Archbishop Malatjie addresses community challenges such as poverty, unemployment, inequality, and gender-based violence through advocacy, outreach, and charitable work.

He is deeply respected among the Baroka Nations for preserving Roka Law and leading sacred rainmaking rituals. These ceremonies, carried out with the Rain Dancers, connect the people to God, the ancestors, and the elements—bringing blessings and rain for cultural farming.

As the head of BMCC’s Eastern Orthodox Morokanism, Archbishop Malatjie ensures that the church follows its own distinct path, separate from Apostolic, Roman, Sione Jerusalem, and Baptism traditions. His leadership reinforces both faith and cultural identity within the community.

“Orthodox Morokanism preserves our faith, culture, and traditions. It balances spiritual devotion with cultural heritage—connecting our people to God, to our ancestors, and to the land. Thobela!”
